CHHAPAAK is very brave and hard-hitting film which remains true to its story and captures the sensitive story af an acid attack victim. CHHAPAAK is a kind of a film which has a heart at the right place and hits you hard with many disturbing scenes. The basic plot of the film is inspired by the real life story of acid attack survivor LAXMI AGRAWAL in the centre, while the film laso decipts the backward mentality of the Indian society, Law Procedure and other things related to that as well. Its an important film which tells u the story of a brave soul who refuses to give up in her life and wants to bring a change in the Indian society.

DETAILED REVIEW
The screenplay of the film is unsetting at places, strict to its narrative and imnpactful and the film hardly has any unnecessary things to attract the audience which is the biggest plus of the movie. The first half of the movie is effective and engaging while the second half drags in between and picks up towards the climax portion. Mehgna Gulzar , The Director ,has done a good job .
